Biography

Louie Pronstroller is an Administrative Assistant II with the Department of Applied Physiology and Kinesiology (APK) at the University of Florida. In her role with APK, she assists faculty, staff, student employees and visitors with travel expense reporting, reimbursements and administrative functions that support the department’s daily operations.

Louie joined APK in July 2026 after five years with the UF Survey Research Center, where she served as Field Director, managing a seasonal staff of more than 200 employees while coordinating department operations and research-related projects.

Outside of work, she enjoys drawing, painting, photography, jewelry making, kayaking, beach cleanups, taking road trips with her husband and playing retro video games. Originally from New Jersey, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Media with a dual minor in Industrial Engineering and Science, Technology & Society from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).
